A wonderful find straight from the estate of a seasoned WW2 collector, this set features a mid- to late-war Waffen-SS buckle attributed to Overhoff & CIE, identified by its die-stamped design and reverse configuration. Much of the original silver wash remains intact on both the front and reverse. Affixed to the buckle is its original black leather belt, clearly SS-issued and marked “VA 401/43 SS”. The belt is further stamped 110, an extra-large size (110 cm) rarely encountered.
The rig includes two ammunition pouches that appear original to the belt. They are mismatched — one bears a late-war RBNr., while the other is dated 1941 — adding to the authenticity of a true field-carried set.

Collector’s Analysis
- Rarity Factor: Original SS-issued belts with their matching buckles are increasingly scarce, especially in extra-large sizes. Finding one still accompanied by its pouches is rarer still.
 - Historical Context: Carried by SS personnel during mid- to late-war years; mismatched pouches are consistent with frontline use and supply realities.
 - Display Potential: A centerpiece SS rig — buckle, belt, and pouches together — offering strong visual presence and unquestionable authenticity.
