This helmet retains its original gray-green finish and bears textbook C.A. Pocher SS runes and party shield decals. The decals display a granular metallic sparkle visible to the naked eye — a characteristic impossible to replicate in modern reproductions. Subtle details, such as faint silver edges along the runes where the silk-screen printing overlapped the base, further confirm authenticity.
The interior leather liner is intact, never removed, and crudely marked 59 crossed out to 58, suggesting rushed production. The rare RZM-stamped chinstrap shows a faint FTB 44 (LG Karlsruhe-Hagsfeld) marking at the end, indicating a late-war production date.
